Christine Michaels

 Hi there! My name is Christine. Georgia born and Raleigh raised, I have happily lived in Raleigh since 2002. I have always been an athletic person with an interest in holistic health, self-care, and wellness. I went to Appalachian State and graduated with a B.S. in Sustainability. Upon graduation, I found myself in Southwestern Virginia, working on organic farms, raising livestock, and supporting farmers markets. Eventually I became a nutritional consultant for a locally owned health foods store which expanded my interest and knowledge in essential oils, herbs, and other natural supplements. 

Fast forward to 2020…downtown Raleigh, small apartment living and isolated in the middle of a pandemic. Somehow I had found myself following a career path that was further and further away from my passions. Later that year, I was laid off from the 9 to 5 desk job. I now firmly believe the Universe was giving me a not so gentle nudge to build the bridge between my passions in life and my career path.

In 2022, I graduated from Wake Tech Therapeutic Massage program. I specialize in Swedish massage, Deep Tissue, Prenatal and Postpartum massage. I am oncology trained and will be becoming Lymphatic Drainage certified in October of 2024. When you are on my table, you will find that I let your body guide me through what it needs and allow that to shape your future treatment plans.
